The livescribe is an absolute innovation when it comes to time management and delegation, whether it be for your home or business. In this Livescribe review, will be discussing the different functions and features of this amazing piece of technology. Hopefully after you finish reading this, you will have enough information to be able to make a decision whether or not the Livescribe is right for you.
The Livescribe is the ultimate tool if you find yourself coming up with amazing ideas all the time only later to forget them, and feel like you may be missing out on taking advantage of some of that great thought capital.
With the livescribe pen, you can capture everything that you come up with, and leave no good idea unused. The Livescribe features the ability to record audio while you are writing. This means that when you transfer your notes that you’ve taken with the Livescribe onto your computer, you will also have associated audio files. If you feel like you miss something in your notes, then this feature can come in handy, as you will have a recording of what you are saying as you are taking the notes, which can quite often give you some golden information, that you would otherwise have missed out on.
There is no need to take your laptop with you everywhere you go with the Livescribe, as you have the ability to capture everything that you write and draw. Later on, you can simply transfer the files from your Livescribe to your computer within a matter of seconds. Amazingly, you can even transfer your notes and audio that you have recorded into interactive movies. These movies can then be uploaded to the Internet to share with others, such as business colleagues if you are using it for business, or friends, if it is just an idea that you want to share.

This is an excellent pen in its own right – extremely reliable right up until the cartridge runs out of ink, but additionally adds a great deal of utility in terms of being able to do voice recordings and get what is essentially a movie of yourself writing while recording sound. The pen is tremendously under-marketed by Livescribe and (in my opinion) most people are not really made aware of its full potential. The only way to really get what it’s capable of is to watch some of the video reviews on Youtube.
Features I would like to see on future pens include better battery monitoring (currently, the meter is a little inaccurate), ink level monitoring and a small, compact tool for removing spent ink cartridges. Also, it would be nice if I could charge the pen with something more common like micro USB rather than the proprietary dock.

I don’t know how I ever lived without this. Note taking is so much easier and I don’t have to re-type my notes Livescribe and Myscript takes care of that for me. I would recommend this pen to anyone who has to take a lot of notes and the record feature makes sure you don’t miss a word. I haven’t had any problems with my Livescribe and I didn’t have any problems learning how to use my Livescribe, it’s fast simple and easy.

It works great. I really love how you can playback the audio by clicking on a note you were writing while recording.
I’ve never had it fail. It always picks up everything I write. I think this could be a really valuable tool for anyone in college. It’s a little bit of a touchy item in a corporate setting because people don’t usually want to be recorded.
You don’t have to record audio though. You can just start writing on your note pad and it will record what you write without audio.
People complain about needing to purchase paper but it’s not really that expensive. If you’re really concerned about that, livescribe lets you download “dot paper” from their website that you can print on your home printer which works exactly like their pre-printed dot paper.
I just bought one for my Father and I’m planning on getting at least 2 more as gifts for Christmas.
I only have one gripe but it doesn’t detract from my 5 star rating. I wish it came bundled with the software that turned your handwriting into type. You can purchase it for an additional $30 which isn’t that bad, and some versions of this pen come with it bundled so shop around.
Enjoy
